Retrofitting

Auto-Cal provides 2 levels of retrofitting services for the Pratt & Whitney Supermicrometer™.

The Auto-Cal Accurizer is a complete retrofit to existing Pratt  Whitney standards and includes the following:

  • Complete cleanup, inspection, evaluation, and functional test/repair.

  • Optional Repaint like photo below -

  • Force Gage Calibration and Tail Stock Mechanical Service

  • LVDT and Analog Meter Circuit repaired and calibrated

  • Head Stock - Micrometer Spindle Rebuild

  • Install Accurizer Assemblies - computer system/ software setup, preliminary calibration, magnetic keyboard, LCD and wireless trackball mouse

  • LAP Micrometer Anvils - flat and Parallel to 5 uln or better using the Accurizer system

  • Final Systems ISO-17025 Calibration with certificate.

  • Certificate of Limited Warranty for 5 years

  • Optional accessories included upon client request

The Auto-Cal Differential Accurizer provides retrofitting with increased productivity and improved accuracy over the Pratt  Whitney standards and includes the following:

  • DIFFERENTIAL Measurement RETROFIT System provides very fast repeatable accuracy.

  • Measurements accurate to 5 uln in 1/5 the time for 20 uln measurement

  • No chasing the Analog Meter - measurements are accurate to within 5 micro inches over full-scale (.001 inch) range of Analog Meter

  • S.P.C. Compatible Micro-Measure 2100 Software provides DIRECT measurement input to ANY windows compatible program, and eliminates operator errors.

  • Motor Drive Option eliminates hand operation and increases measurement throughput.
